Diary Study

Diary Study Diary Study

Scenario

You're a product designer at an entertainment streaming company.

Your team wants to see how a user's relationship with the product changes over time. Do users change anything about how they use the app? Do they discover new things they didn't know before? Do they develop a different perception or attitude about the product?

You also want to know: What time of day do users engage with the product? Do they share content with others? What motivates them to get on and use the app?

Task

Select an entertainment streaming company who will be your imaginary employer for this challenge. Examples include Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Video, and Hulu.

Perform a diary study with 3 to 5 users of your chosen product to find answers to the questions above. Present your findings in a report.

Extra Credit: Perform the study with 8 or more participants.
